What happens to the contaminants filtered through the Atmosphere Drive™ purifier?  Will it be released back into the air when the unit is off?

Contaminants filtered through the Atmosphere Drive™ purifier does not get released into the air when the unit is off. TVOCs, bacteria and particles are stored within the filter, for the life of the filter.

What’s the best place in my car to install the Atmosphere Drive™ unit?

Headrest – Strap The strap provides the ability to securely fasten the unit. The location of the headrest with clean air blowing towards the roof of the car provides optimal airflow within the car. 

Center Console – Strap The strap provides the ability to securely fasten the unit. While the airflow might not be optimal, it is a good location due to proximity to the driver or passenger.

Is there any warranty for the ATMOSPHERE DRIVE?

Yes, there is a one year warranty for the main unit.

Will the Atmosphere Drive™ System continue to run after I turn my car off?

If the 12 volt power supply in the car powers off when the car is turned off, then the Atmosphere Drive™ unit will power off as well. When the car is turned on again, the Atmosphere Drive™ System will resume power at the speed which it last ran. Many cars, however, have a car power supply that remains powered when the automobile is turned off.  If your car has this feature, then the Atmosphere Drive™ timer will turn the system off two hours after it was turned on.  This allows the system to run after the car is turned off for the remaining portion of the two hours, after which the system will turn off. The timer will turn off after 2 hours even if you are still driving more than 2 hours.  If this happens, you simply push the power button and the Atmosphere Drive™ System will run for another 2 hours
